~We WILL have practice over Spring Break (follow regular practice schedule)!

~Our FIRST MEET is quickly approaching! We will be swimming West High School on Sunday, March 21^st at the SAC. Due to covid rules/regulations there will be no spectators in the building. However, there is an opportunity to see your swimmer in action if you sign up to volunteer (spots are limited so sign up sooner than later). Coach Ben will send out additional meet info next week.

Meet and Volunteer sign ups ARE OPEN!

RSVP Attending OR Not Attending for each Swim Meet:

• Go the HVA swim website https://hardinvalleyaquatics.swimtopia.com/ and log into your account
• On the home page you will see “Upcoming Events” on the right hand side (or you can follow the “Calendars” link and choose “Sign up Calendar”).
• Click the green MEET ENTRY tab for the meet, and then click the blue Edit tab under your athletes' names.
• For each of your athletes, select an option from the drop down list next to their names.

  • Attending
  • Not Attending
• Click Save to record your choices.

To sign up for a Volunteer Shift:

• Go the HVA swim website https://hardinvalleyaquatics.swimtopia.com/ and log into your account
• On the home page you will see “Upcoming Events” on the right hand side (or you can follow the “Calendars” link and choose “Sign up Calendar”)
• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed).
• Click Save Assignments.

~PRACTICE SCHEDULE (Coach Ben will send out an email if there is a practice cancellation or change)

• Monday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm (Outdoor pool-just outside of SAC)
• Tuesday: 8:00pm – 9:00pm (Indoor pool SAC)
• Wednesday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm (Outdoor pool-just outside of SAC)
• Thursday: 8:00pm – 9:00pm (Indoor pool SAC)

~TENTATIVE MEET SCHEDULE (dates, location and meet details are subject to change)

• March 21^st-dual meet against West High School (SAC)
• March 28^th-dual meet against Farragut High School (at Lenoir City bubble)
• April 1^st – dual meet against Oak Ridge High School (in Oak Ridge)
• April 11^th-dual meet against Bearden High School (at SAC)
• April 17^th-City Meet (location most likely Kingsport Aquatic Center)
• April 24^th & 25^th-State Meet (Kingsport Aquatic Center) *state qualifiers only-time standards can be found on our HVA Aquatics website

~DIVERS will train Thursday and Friday evenings from 6-7:30pm. Divers will compete at the Student Aquatic Center during the regular practice week. Dive scores will be distributed to swim teams by the end of each week to help contribute to their teams total score.
