Sept 15th Weekly Update
September 15th
- THANK YOU to all the
parents that helped with concessions on Friday night!!It was great fundraising opportunity for the
team and I think we showed that parents are great with teamwork too!
- Our FIRST PRACTICE is tomorrow night,Sept. 16th 7:00-8:30 pm at Allan Jones Aquatic
Center. You must be registered
online and your physical form will need to be turned in before you can practice
with the team. You can
email a copy of your physical to [email protected]
or turn it in to a parent rep or coach. A parent representative will be available at practice to
answer any questions and to collect physical forms/payments.
- Parking
for practice-See info below regarding parking. Parking without a pass on campus is “park at
your own risk”. We suggest carpooling,
dropping kids off and running an errand before picking back up, staying in the
car while parked (or leaving for a short amount of time) or parking at Publix
and walking up (though this is also park at your own risk).
- You
will need athletic clothes for drylands, swimsuit, goggles and a water bottle
for the 1st practice!
- The
carpool list of those that asked to be placed on it was sent out last
week. If you would like to be added to
the carpool list please reply and let us know.
- PARKING – All meter parking from campus has been removed. UT is offering a paid parking pass to high school/middle school swimmers and parents. You can purchase a parking pass from UT parking services (2121 Stephenson Drive, Knoxville, TN 37996) for $20/month. The pass will be a restricted visitor pass valid only during our practice times and valid only for C22 and SCN lots. If you are wanting to purchase a pass please let us know ASAP. We are required to turn in a list of names for our team of those that will purchasing a pass. They will not sell you the pass if your name is not on the list for HVA Aquatics. We will send you an email with instructions for purchasing a pass once your name has been submitted to UT parking services.
